This is the final post of Avni and Gurpawan’s Indian wedding. The reception was at the Ballantyne as well. Inside one of the beautiful ballrooms. After covering the vidaai, it was time for me to download the ceremony images and then get ready for the reception. As soon as the vendor teams got the ballroom ready, I captured Cake and other decorations. Erica Horton of Cloud 9 Bakery had created amazing cake! Katen Shah of Elegant Designz did the decorations for both ceremony and reception. DJ Ravi of DCS Dynasty provided the DJ and lighting services.
I captured cocktail hour candids followed by the couple’s mini portrait session. Ballantyne is a beautiful resort. So, we did the session outdoors. And then it was time for the party! The party started with wedding party introductions. There were performances and speeches. And lots of laughter as you would see from the images. The dinner was served and featured both traditional and vegan entrees.
It was a long day for me, after starting the photography at 6 AM! Two baraats, two ceremonies and the reception. I enjoyed it! I love what I do and I want the couples to have a good photography experience when they hire me. And I am thankful to all my clients for trusting me for their special occasions.
This weekend I will be in Southport NC to photograph Arti and Mitesh’s e-session. It is going to be fun!
