Pranita and Shaum’s e-session was not too long ago! Their wedding was at the Raleigh Marriott City Center. One of the memorable weddings I have photographed there was the White Christmas wedding couple of years ago. Pranita and Shaum’s wedding will be memorable for the hottest summer ever! But, the weather on the wedding day was nice. Little cooler with slight breeze.  Mica and I were photographing NCSFA’s SAFRE at the Raleigh Convention center for past three days. On Saturday, Mica continued that assignment while I photographed the wedding (she did stop by to help me!).

I started the day by photographing bride and groom getting ready. Of course, groom’s getting ready process is simple! On the other hand, Indian bride getting ready is a long and intricate process. The bride looked stunning! The baraat started on the Fayetteville street. The groom was on Faith Bradshaw’s (White Horse Weddings) beautiful white horse. DJ Hangama and Dholi Jeetu provided music for the baraat. The venue was decorated by Katen Shah (Elegant Designz). The ceremony was beautiful. Not many social rituals. Which kept everything on the schedule. Since this was an afternoon wedding, the cocktail hour followed the ceremony. The food was catered by Blue Mango of Raleigh. I went outside with the couple for their portrait session. I had to work quickly since the cocktail hour was in the progress. But, I am familiar with Raleigh downtown and was able to capture many poses. After that, it was back to work photographing the cocktail and reception! Long day! And after the reception we will drive to Charlotte to photograph Yogesh and Raunaq’s wedding next day…
