Seems like yesterday when I had photographed Pooja and Ram’s E-session in Raleigh (Downtown)! I was scheduled to photograph their Garba, Ceremony and Reception. And then I also got the opportunity to photograph Pooja’s vidhi. Pooja’s family travelled from Africa for this wedding. The vidhi was a combination of worship, religious and social rituals. The vidhi included bride’s pithi, Part of the pre-wedding ceremony took outside. This vidhi marked a very emotional time for Pooja’s family as it signifies that the bride will be leaving her home soon. Pooja looked beautiful- I was glad to capture some of the quick portraits. We also did video of the pre-wedding. Mica shot the video and I did the edits. The Garba was scheduled in the evening- look for preview images of that in the next post.

We are headed into a busy weekend: photographing a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday and then heading to Rock Hill to photograph Bhumi and Viren’s Indian wedding at the Magnolia Room! I am photographing several events on the road this year. Exciting times ahead…
